Fun parks and snowboarding
Millions of people from all over the world visit fun parks each year. One of the most famous fun parks of all time, can be found in Florida and is called Disney Land. Disney Land is one place that all kids at some point in their life have wanted to visit, and many of them have their dreams come true, when parents take them on the ultimate holiday. Within Disney Land itself characters from all the Disney movies can be found, wandering around this huge complex, characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Princess Arura, Snow White and Cinderella to name but a few. There are hotels within this complex, and many people choose to stay in this all time fantasy land. Others choose to stay a drive away from the complex, but there are many hotels which offer the convenience of a shuttle bus, which takes you to and from the complex and back to the hotel. At the end of each day in Disney Land there is a massive firework display.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach in England is home to one of the tallest roller coasters in Europe. The Pepsi Max ride really does live up to its name, with a drop of 235ft, the adrenalin rush from this ride is fantastic, it is the ultimate in white knuckle rides, and each year attracts thousands of tourists. Some thrill seekers go on to experience this ride again and again, but nothing can compare to the roller coaster in ‘Holiday Park’ which is based in Hassloch, Germany. This steel roller coaster has won the award for ‘Best Coaster in the world’, four times in total, this coaster reaches speeds of over 75 miles per hour and stands a whopping 62 meters high, this is definitely one of the finest roller coasters in the world.
All around the world roller coasters of all sizes and shapes can be found in fun parks, other places with great rides include Alton Towers in England and Chimelong in Hong Kong, China.
