Theme parks or fun parks all over the world usually have a couple of things in common and these would include having interesting and appealing décor, rides and other features which immerse guests in an alternate universe. They make sure that they are able to engage your senses and place you at the center of all the action, making you forget about all the technology which is behind the illusion and almost transporting you to a wonderful and magical place. If you are planning to visit some fun parks in the UK, then there are actually several places that come highly recommended. The first one would be the Alton Towers in Staffordshire. It is very much similar to the appeal of Disney land in America. It has been built around a gothic mansion and gardens that seem to be taken straight out from the 19th century. Some of the roller coasters that they feature include Rita, Nemesis – the first inverted roller coaster of Europe, Oblivion – the first vertical-drop roller coaster in the world and Queen of Speed. If you are not a fan of roller coasters, you can enjoy their other attractions such as the 4D movie experience and the beach area, with a pool and sand.

Legoland is another fun park in the UK that many tourists, particularly those which came from Paris go to. It sits on 150 acres of parkland and has over 50 interactive rides, live shows, attractions, driving schools and building workshops.
